Granite is natural stone, quarried in slabs — every top is genuinely unique, with the depth and movement only nature produces. Quartz (engineered stone, like the Caesarstone ranges we stock) is crushed natural quartz bound with resin — engineered for consistency, non-porosity and easy care.
In South African kitchens both perform superbly for decades. The choice usually comes down to three questions: do you want a unique natural slab or a uniform engineered look? How much heat will the surface take straight off the stove? And do you mind resealing natural stone every year or two, or do you want zero maintenance?
